Welcome to the Edco community! Like any good neighbor, we look forward to getting to know you and are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. Edco has developed this Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") to help make sure you understand what information we may collect, use, store, and / or share. This Privacy Policy discloses the information we gather on weare.ed.co or one of its related sites and applications (collectively the "App"), and, except where otherwise expressly indicated herein or on the App, applies only to information collected on the App and does not apply to information collected outside of the App. This Privacy Policy addresses our privacy practices relating to the general use of our App by anyone who visits, browses or otherwise uses the App (collectively, "you"). Before submitting information to the App, please read this Privacy Policy. By visiting the App, submitting information, making a donation, or using any of our products or services (collectively called "Services"), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. The Services are owned and operated by Ed.co, LLC ("Edco," "we," "us," or "our."). If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

The information we collect

Edco is a fundraising solution to help K-12 schools raise the funds and access the resources necessary to enrich the educational experience for all students. One of our core tenets is that every community member can contribute to the community's success. In order to help this happen, and to provide a secure, efficient and personalized user experience, we request and collect information from users. The App is intended to provide a great experience without requiring you to submit any more Personal Information ("PI") than is necessary. We do not require you to register or submit PI in order to visit the App and some activities on the App can be performed without providing PI. When we ask for PI to, for instance, set up an account, create a project page, or make a donation, we will not require any more PI than we believe is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. When you provide us with your PI, we may use such information for a variety of purposes, including: Edco will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Information you share

Any PI you post publicly on the App ("Publicly Available Content") is available to the public without any expectation of privacy or confidentiality. Copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored your Publicly Available Content even if you remove the Publicly Available Content. To request removal of your personal information from these areas of the site, contact us at hello@ed.co. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why. The profile you create on our site will be publicly visible. We maintains your preferences for the use and sharing of information, including how or when we contact you. If you do not wish to receive newsletters, campaigns updates, or marketing communications simply indicate so in your account profile, or contact us at hello@ed.co. The App allow users to access social media services, such as Facebook and Twitter to interact with friends and to share content. Please be aware that you are sharing on those services, and that your interactions with these features and services are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them. Once you register on the App and connect with Facebook or another social networking site you may be able to automatically post recent activity back to Facebook or the other social networking site. Any information that we collect from your these third-party site accounts may depend on the privacy settings you have with that social networking site, so please consult the privacy and data practices of those sites.
